Linkr was an idea that came from deep inspiration from several individuals from the great GeekSmack forum. As an opportunity to learn more scripting languages, I felt that I should create something small which contains lots of script and code. I came up with the Linkr idea, to allow all forum members to easily share their social networking links in their forum signature. Linkr was the perfect idea, because it is much easier because all you need to do is enter your username in the form and let the code generate it for you. The Linkr also gives the member a spiffy, neat, and nicely designed bar with colorful visuals. Right now, I have been able to teach myself basic PHP, JavaScript and jQuery thanks to the Linkr project, as well as deliver a neat addon to forum members.
